Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has hinted that his time with the national team will soon be over.
The governor as he is called by team mates declared this at the post match conference yesterday after the Super Eagles defeated Benin Republic by 2 goals to 1.
The Saudi-Arabia based forward noted that the team is full of young talents and quality players at the moment and that the team might not need his aged leg in some years time.
Talking on not getting constant role in the squad as the captain, Musa said it is not necessary that he plays every game and what matters more is victory for the team as a whole.
The captain played a part in the 2-1 victory of the Eagles yesterday after he came on for striker, Victor Osihmen late in the second half.
The Super Eagles depart Nigeria for Lesotho on Friday for their next AFCON qualifiers game on Sunday.
