The AFCON 2021 qualifiers kick off as match day 1 will see lots of actions going down today.
In Nigeria, it is all about the Super Eagles playing host to the squirrels of Benin Republic at the Akwa Ibom International stadium, Uyo.
With all invited players in camp, the Eagles will be looking to start on a bright note with a win as pointed out by team captain, Ahmed Musa.
The Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said he will put out a strong first eleven that will get maximum 3 points at the end of ninety minutes.
He stressed that Daniel Akpeyi will start between sticks and mentioned a few of the players to start with Victor Osihmen, Samuel Chukuweze, Samuel Kalu and Alex Iwobi all starrting the game.
Leicester city’s Wilfred Ndidi will partner Rangers’ Joe Aribor in the midfield as Kenneth Omeruo and William Troost Ekong will partner at the heart of defence while Jamiu Collins and Chidozie Awaziem play from full backs position.
The match is set to go down by 5pm Nigerian time at the magnificent Akwa Ibom International stadium, Uyo.
