Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has confirmed that South African based goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi will start tomorrow for the Eagles.
The national team coach made the declaration in today’s press conference in Uyo stressing that Akepyi has the needed experience of African football.
The German tactician explained that Maduka Okoye has done well to start but does not have African football experience while Ikechukwu Ezenwa has not got playing time at his club.
On the fitness level of players, the gaffer noted that he will not take a risk on any player that is unfit but would ensure the team comes out strong and ready to play.
Super Eagles will lock horns with the Benin Republic tomorrow at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo by 5 pm Nigerian time.
