The competition which would commence in early March is tagged ‘AFCC Coaches Cup 2024’.
Four venues have been selected for the much-anticipated competition.
The venues are Harmony football pitch, Baruwa, Ladoje football pitch, Agege, Abesan High School, Abesan and NYSC camp playground, and Iyana-Ipaja.
Leader of Agege Football Coaches Council (AFCC), Ajayi Olumide Adedapo confirmed to our correspondent that the registration forms are available in the council saying that any interested club owners are expected to pay the sum of N20,000 for the registration form.
“This will be our first program this year and I am happy that clubs from various places are showing interest in our competition.
“We felt that many clubs are looking for a well-organised football competition to assess their newly recruited players and our competition would be a good platform for them to showcase their players to the world,” he said.
Adedapo disclosed that prize money would be given to the winners and first runner-up in both categories while outstanding players would also be rewarded with cash and gift items for a job well done.
