AFCADU United FC will on Saturday January 13 face off with Mighty Wonderers FC of Abraka in the 4th edition of the Doris Nwadiolu memorial Cup at the Agbor Township Stadium.
Mighty Wanderers of Abraka will be coming in to defend the title they won in 2023 when they defeated Ultimate Stars of Agbor 5-1 in the finals. This will be AFCADU United first competitive match following the formation of the team by the Agbor football Coaches and Directors Union.

Accoridng to the president of the Agbor football Coaches and Directors Union, Coach Alika Onyekachukwu, the Finals on Saturday will serve as the Season opener for the Agbor Coaches and Directors and it’s been sponsored by KG Sports foundation as a Charity match.
“This match will serve as the season opener and we are grateful to the Oracle, Dr Ken Gadaffi CEO of KG Sports Foundation for sponsoring this match”.
“The union teams have been on break and the transfer window has just opened so we have formed the AFCADU team to bring the best players from all the clubs and Academy in Agbor under one umbrella” he added.
“This is the 4th Edition of the Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Cup which is in honor of my late mum” Dr Ken Gadaffi said from his base in Cambodia.
“This year, we decided to make it a charity Cup between the winners of the last edition and the Agbor United Team, it is also a charity match to open the season in Agbor and we are looking foreword to a great season for all the clubs in agbor “Dr Ken Gadaffi stated.
The winner will go home with the trophy and a cash award of #30,000 while the runner up goes home with #20,000. Players and Fans will also be given Transport Passes Courtesy of PM Growth Ventures and Plovtech Solutions.
