Coach Adewale Laluko, a prominent member of the Ikeja Divisional Football Association and an integral part of the Super 4 tournament’s organizing committee, shared his impressions of the tournament’s opening day.
He expressed great enthusiasm for the level of skill and technique exhibited by the participating teams.
Laluko highlighted, “The guys showed a lot of ability with technique from all the teams. It was fun to watch and play on a very good turf, making it exceptionally beautiful. Moreover, most of the games were streamed live, enhancing the overall experience.”
When asked about his assessment of the teams’ performances, he remarked, “The first game was outstanding, even though Shuffle Select dominated the scoreline.
It was a highly competitive match. However, the second game lacked balance, with Bucknor FC clearly overpowering Magboro FC, suggesting that the latter may not have been adequately prepared for the Super 4.”
