Adewale Adebayo Joins Ikorodu City FC, Eyes Strong Impact In NPFL 2024/2025 Season

Adewale Adebayo, former Avrankou Omnisport Municipal FC player, has signed with Ikorodu City FC ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Returning to Nigeria after his stint in the Benin Republic Premier League, Adebayo expressed his joy and gratitude, acknowledging the challenges he has faced on his journey but attributing his progress to divine grace.

Adebayo, who previously played for MFM FC, is eager to make a significant impact in the upcoming NPFL season.

“I’m excited to be back home and joining Ikorodu City FC. The journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m here today by God’s grace and mercy,” Adebayo stated.

My goal is to create awareness for myself in the league and fight for the badge every time I’m called upon. I aim to help the team achieve great things,” he added.
