RB Leipzig Nigerian winger, Ademola Lookman is close to a £12.5m switch from the Bundesliga side to Atlanta after he spent the last two seasons on loan with Fulham and Leicester respectively.
Lookman who joined Leipzig in 2019 has failed to nail down a starting spot in the men’s first team is set to put an end to his unproductive stay with the club for more first-team opportunities as he arrives in Bergamo to complete the permanent switch.
A product of Charlton, he was a key member of the England U20 team that won the World Cup in 2017 after which he made a big money move to Everton and there to Leipzig on loan which later resulted in a purchase.
The winger had a productive spell with Leicester last season where he made 13 goal contributions in 42 appearances, 8 goals, and 5 assists.
