Athlete’s representative and technical director of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Sunday Adeleye has declared that all male and female participants are ready for next month’s National Sports Festival in Abuja.
Adeleye told sports247.ng that with the athletes ready for track and field events at Abuja 2018, the federation will finalise preparations for the various categories in their sector.
Adeleye stressed: “The federation can now say that the various athletes who will be representing their states in the forthcoming National sports Festival are battle ready.
“All the athletes are ready to participate in Abuja, and the federation is happy about it.
“We will be monitoring the performance level of the athletes because of the All African Games coming up next year in Casablanca, Morocco.”
