Abia Warriors defender Abiodun Adebayo has stated that the Umuahia Warriors are not resting on their current form and are looking to improve further in the Gov Wike Unity Cup.
Despite three wins in the group stage of the competition, Adebayo is urging his team to maintain clarity in the semi final against Rivers United on Tuesday morning. Kickoff is at 8am.
“Now we are playing to improve further and to take another step forward, as every team does,” Adebayo told Footballlive.ng.
“After a while not winning away, we have now won twice in the last two attempts. But, nobody can relax.”
“We respect Rivers United 100 per cent, but we don’t fear them. Our aim is to win when we them on Tuesday.”
“We are happy with how things are going but we have to continue as we are so as to continue experiencing this.”
