The team manager of T-Gold’s B-squad was on Saturday elated that he won two events at this year’s Achievers Cup organised by Island All Stars Sports Club (IASC) and described it as a ‘fantastic tournament.’

Okpara was thrilled after emerging winner of draught and ludo events on the final day of the multi-sports recreational competition sponsored by Providus Bank, and he told sports247.ng that it was a most memorable moment in his life.
While dedicating the two trophies to his teammates and family, Okpara added, “It indeed is a nice one and a very memorable day for me.
“This is my first cup and, being a double, it makes me very happy. I am truly elated.
“I dedicate these cups to my team members as well as my family.”
Okpara then eulogised the officials of IASC for putting together what he referred to as an exciting and remarkable edition of Achievers Cup.
“It’s been a very wonderful competition and properly organised.
“We give kudos to the IASC, who took it upon themselves to make sure that we had a very fantastic tournament this year … the best, in fact,” the jocular team manager submitted.
