With exactly one week to the start of the biggest marathon in West Africa, Revolution Plus Properties Managing director Mr Bamidele Onalaja have been announced and given the honor to flag open the 10km arm of the event scheduled for the 2nd of February 2019 in Lagos.
Revolution Plus Properties is the official real estate sponsor of the 2019 Lagos Marathon and have promised to ensure that everybody who participates at the marathon becomes a landlord as provisions have been made to give sizeable discounts to every participants.
The flag off of the marathon will take place at the national stadium in Surulere Lagos and Mr Onolaja has insisted that Revolution Plus is here to stay after signing a multi-million partnership sponsorship deal with the marathon organizer that will span the space of five years.
According to race consultant Bukola Olopade, Access Bank MD Mr Herbert Wigwe has been positioned to flag off the 42km marathon. Mr Olopade has described the partnership of Revolution Plus as one of the gains of the event.
He said. “The marathon has been held successfully for three editions and this is the fourth. This edition is going to be more interesting because of the new features that has been included and the numerous sponsors that has joined the race especially Revolution Plus. We are indeed really grateful for their support and I’m certain they will receive lots of mileage from their partnership.”
One of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, D’banj, Teni the entertainer and others have been signed to entertain runners and fans at Eko Atlantic City, the finish point of the 2019 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon on February 2.
