AC Renate Signs Destiny Efosa Egharevba After Departure From Fiorentina.

Destiny Efosa Egharevba, an Italian-born forward of Nigerian descent has just signed a contract with AC Renate after his recent departure from ACF Fiorentina.

Destiny gained recognition for his skills on the field and his ability to contribute to his team’s offence. He honed his skills and developed as a player showcasing promising potential, and making a name for himself in youth competitions.

Following his departure from Fiorentina, AC Renate announced the acquisition of the former Italy U19 international on Friday, August 2.

Egharevba has signed a two-year contract at the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2026, with a club option for the 2026-2027 season. He has departed Fiorentina without making his senior debut, though he received four call-ups to the first team during the 2021-2022 season.

The Italian-Nigerian winger won the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup during his term with Fiorentina. In the last two seasons, he appeared in 37 Serie C matches wearing the jerseys of Vis Pesaro, Fiorenzuola, and Recanatese.

AC Renate has signed a versatile player who is capable of playing as a right winger, centre forward, right midfielder, left winger, or second striker. The Nerazzurri will face Pro Patria in their season opener on August 25, 2024.
