Abiodun Qudus, a dedicated swimming coach from Ogun State, recently completed his final exams at the National Institute for Sports (NIS), where he pursued a diploma coaching course in swimming.

In a post-exam interview with Sports 247, Qudus shared insights into his coaching journey and aspirations.
Even before joining NIS, Qudus had a passion for coaching. He explained, “Before NIS, I have always been a coach. I have always been training students how to swim. I have worked with several schools, training males, females, and even adults in the art of swimming.”
Reflecting on his experience at NIS, Qudus simply described it as “nice and a good one.” It’s evident that his time at the institute further fueled his dedication to coaching and swimming.
Looking ahead, Qudus is actively working on a program that he believes will yield positive results in the near future. He is committed to continuous learning and improvement, stating, “I have a certificate in Nigeria Aquatic Federation level one, and next month, I am going to do level two.”

To fellow coaches, Qudus offered words of encouragement and advice: “They should be determined and believe in themselves because when you believe in yourself, you get what you want. It is only when you do not believe in yourself that you feel like relenting to get what you want. But once you know, you go get what you want. Just stay focused and keep on.”
