The Umu Chineke squad has returned to Umuahia, where they have intensified preparations under the guidance of Technical Adviser Imama Amapakabo. The team has been put through various tactical drills, fine-tuning their approach for Sunday’s fixture.

Confidence is high in the Warriors’ camp, with midfielder Ojonugwa Adejoh expressing optimism about their recent performances.

“There’s a positive atmosphere among the players right now. Everyone is excited about our results so far. Morale in the camp is high,” Adejoh told the club’s media team.

The Kogi-born midfield enforcer also emphasized the team’s commitment to securing all three points, remaining focused on executing their game plan as directed by the coach.

“We will stick to the TA’s instructions and play according to plan. The most important thing is getting the three points,” he added.

Currently sitting 5th on the NPFL table with 40 points, Abia Warriors hold a 10-point advantage over 17th-placed Nasarawa United. Both teams will battle it out at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with kickoff set for 3 PM.
