Former Flying Eagles striker Suleiman Abdullahi admitted he was happy with his performance on Sunday as Union Berlin thumped Greuther Further 4-0 in the German Bundesliga 2.
The all action provided an assist as his team zoomed to third on the log in the German second tier.
He was substituted in the second half.
“I’m very happy,” he told Sports247.ng after the game. “It’s always difficult to play in these type of games.
“You have to be at your very best if the Coach is to trust you.
“This is my second league game of the season and I think it’s work in progress for me.
“We are doing very well, 23 points out of 39 is fair.
“Now we must improve and try to reduce the gap with Hamburger and FC Cologne.”
