Nigeria claims gold in the Mixed Team Championships at the All Africa Senior Badminton championships in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The encounter went to the wire as both teams were tied at 2-2 heading the final game.
The pair of Anuoluwapo Opeyori and Dorcas Adesokan defeated Julien Paul and Kune Foo 21-19, 21-19 in the mixed doubles to win the gold, confining Mauritius to second place.
Nigerian team celebrated the win the President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Francis Orbih, who was excited by the win.
