Organisers of the six editions of U-16 male and U-19 female Aare Tomori Williams football competition announced 5, November as the kickoff date for the tournament.
The much anticipated tournament begins at the Campos sports center,Lagos Island.
The opening match would be played between Young Talent 99 against Unification Ladies in female category by 12pm, while Yomaraz FC battle Papa Soccer Academy in the male category.
Match cordinator, Lateef Ojora Ogunfowora in a chat with sports 247.ng confirmed that all the matches would be played at the Campos sports center and urged the participating players to be of good ambassadors of their clubs.
“We have finally fixed a date for the Tomori Williams Cup which is November.We would have started the tourney by now but we want to put all the logistics in place before the kickoff date,”he said.
Cup donor,Aare Tomori said sponsoring the tournament is borne out of passion he has for the round leather game and admonished the teams to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
