Midfield sensation, Ayomide Muritala who was the star performer in SGH’s 2-4 win against Fortune F.A. with many who has seen him play at the ongoing Aare Tomori Williams Football Competition raving about his talent has said that the team has thier eyes on the big prize.
The opening ceremony/ kickoff was played at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan but the subsequent games will be further played in Campus Stadium as revealed.
Many has described the young player as a future star, a midfielder with great character, he was called the game changer in thier game against Fortune F.A. where they defeated the team by four goals to two.
The young lad after the game has this to say, “this tournament is a great platform for us all as a player and I’m happy that this opportunity is really preparing us for the big future ahead of us.”
“We are young players from the academy playing here. With more of this kind of tournaments, it will prepare us for the great task ahead.
“I’m happy I can do this for my team and my eyes and that of my teammates is on the trophy. We will keep playing and anytime we are given the opportunity to play, I urge everyone of us to concentrate on what we are obliged to do and that’s to play football,” he encouraged.
