Jumez are without a win in all three games and have only scored once so far this season, a statistic that worries Ekenne Godwin, the player responsible for the only goal of the team in the league.
Asked if the recent results have put any kind of pressure on the team, “Yes it does,” Ekenne told Sports247. “We’re trying to work on it, to work on our scoring and trying to get 3pts to move to the top half of the league,” he continues.
“I have to work on myself, score more goals and help the team to gain more points,” the striker added as his target set for the season. “It depends on us players to work on ourselves personally and then work together as a team and get on top of our game and the league,” Ekenne adds.
The striker who idolizes Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard also wants to fulfill his dream of playing professional football in Europe some day and living a successful life.
