At the forefront of this evolution is Princess Ojuolape Kosoko, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TopPro Sports Management Company. In a recent media chat, she expressed her commitment to redefining professionalism, class, and integrity in the management of sporting talents across Nigeria and Africa.
“Managing talents goes beyond paperwork and rhetoric. It demands compassion, honesty, trust, and professionalism in every aspect,” Kosoko emphasized.
TopPro Sports Management focuses on guiding athletes both on and off the field, ensuring they are well-prepared for life after their playing careers. Using footballer Folashade Ijamilusi as an example, Kosoko highlighted their efforts in securing off-field opportunities for her, acknowledging the short lifespan of a footballer’s career.

Beyond talent management, she also had a strong message for football coaches and administrators, urging them to focus on their primary responsibilities and allow football agents and managers to perform their duties effectively.
“Coaches should take a breather and allow football agents to do their jobs. Our role is to scout and manage players, not dictate team selections. If everyone sticks to their specific roles, the game will thrive in Nigeria,” she advised.
