Ogun State FA chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has hailed the potentials of the Nkechi Obi NWFL board admitting that a new dawn has been established in which Nigeria women football will experience maximum development.

Also part of the NFF board members, Alhaji Majek as popularly called represented the Nigeria Football Federation president in person of Ibrahim Gusau at the NWFL annual general meeting which took place today.
Speaking after the events with the press, Alhaji revealed that he is confident that the new board are up to the task to take Nigeria women football to greater heights.
“We have seen it ourselves that the template the former board laid on is wonderful and much will be worked on it”.
“As we have seen it, the federation did a wonderful job by putting the right person at the helm of the affairs and by the grace of God, we are going to see a new dawn in Nigeria women football”, he added.
“The board have more than five or six committees even the one newly inaugurated today that will give them the template to further develop women football in Nigeria”.
“The Federation has directed that we give women U-13, U-15 more priority, all the state FA, the more you are setting male developmental programs, you must consider the women football also”.
“The issue of cycling players around in the national team will be bygone, a new dawn is here and I have no doubt on that, I have one hundred percent that development will come to women football”, he concluded.
