Lagos Deputy Governor Hosts Fatodu, Rufai, Advocate Sports Development

In line with the Lagos State administration’s commitment to drive greater social and economic gains through strategic partnership in the sports sector, the Deputy Governor, Mr. Obafemi Hamzat hosted the Director General of Lagos State Sports Commission, Lekan Fatodu and Legendary former Nigerian International Football Star, Peter Rufai.

Lagos State Deputy Governor thanked Rufai for his worthy endeavours and assured him of the readiness of Lagos State Sports Commission, under the able leadership of Fatodu, in working effectively with proven hands and professionals like Rufai in justifying Governor Sanwo-Olu’s robust investment in sports and in fostering the development of more talents within the state.

Rufai who expressed gratitude towards Lagos State for being a cornerstone in his sports career, shared several commendable sports initiatives he has spearheaded in the state while reiterating his steadfast dedication to unveiling even more impactful programs aimed at nurturing talent and fostering growth within the sporting community.
