The Nigeria Wrestling Federation has congratulated Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri after the tribunal sitting in Abuja, on Monday, affirmed the re-election of Governor Diri in the November 11, 2023 election in the state.

The Wrestling Federation in a statement signed by the Secretary General, Mohammed H Maigidansanma on behalf of the board emphatically underscored that the Tribunal’s verdict is a resounding reaffirmation of the people’s choice, which signifies the enduring strength of Nigeria’s democratic institutions and the unwavering refuge the judiciary provides to ordinary citizens.
For his passion and dedication to see that Bayelsa is prosperous in all areas, the Wrestling Federation vividly expressed confidence that Governor Diri will continue to flourish and thrive in line with the ‘Prosperity’ agenda of his administration.
The Federation also used the medium to appeal to Governor Diri’s political opponents to respect the court’s verdict while soliciting the support of the Bayelsa people and Nigerians at large for a successful second term in office.
