Taiwan Beer on Saturday came back from the dead to win 72-69 with Nigerian Born Humphery Gabriel emerging the MVP in the closely contested tie against defending champions Yulon Luxgen.

Taiwan Beer had topped the table at the end of the regular season with 20-10 while Yulon Luxgen finished 3rd with 15-15.
Taiwan Beer took the game on its head flight from the tip off with Humphery ‘Gabe’ Gabriel giving Taiwan beer 10-0 lead inside 3 minutes.
Yulon Talisman, Bredan Moss inspired his side back into the game with his all round display that has characterised his plan in the finals series to limit the first Quarter deficit to 5 points as Taiwan Beer finished the quarter 22-17.
Gabe (29pts, 10reb) combined well with American import John Fields (20pts, 10reb) to keep Taiwan Noses in front despite Brendan Moss (32pts, 16 reb) for Yulon.
Yulon won game one before Taiwan beer took game two. Game 3 saw Yulon back in front to take the series to 2-1.
“We knew it’s either we win or we go home, it was going to be our last game should we lose so we wanted to give it all we can” Humphery Gabriel said moments after the game in response to a question on what motivated the display.
Gabe has been very inspirational all season for Gabe and had to play 38 minutes in each of the 4 Play off Series.
“This is what we train for and so l am ready to play even now after the game” he said
Talking about Game 5 which comes up on Sunday May 12, Gabe said that they would give all their best to win the Title as that is only what they deserved for all the hard work.
“We have worked hard this season, we have to give out all to get to their stage and winning the championship will be the icing on the cake following a very outstanding season for us” he said.
