Open Fun Football, a company owned by Abdul Kareem Sule, ex -Stationery Stores FC and Super Eagles player in collaboration with a reputable organisation in Denmark and sponsored by UEFA Foundation will be having seminar, coaching course session for ex players who want to go into coaching and support for youth football in Nigeria from May 13 in Kaduna.

According to Abdul Sule, popularly called Khana amongst his fans, the event will serve as a pathway to further engage children/youths with interest in the game of football and to significantly empower former football players.
In his words “the main objectives of the programme is to educate the ex players with coaching education and this might help them to get a job. It’s also an avenue to coach the youths from the age of 12 -14 years.
“This coaching course it’s free registration, free accommodation and feeding,” he disclosed.
Abdul Sule stressed that after the seminar, the company will give over 100 balls and equipment to all the participating states to kick start small academy team to keep them busy and a stipend to the coaches and atleast for the team to train twice in month.
Abdul Sule played for teams like Qatar Sports Club, Berning Fremad, Denmark, AB Copenhagen (akademisk boldklub) Koge Boldklub, Alliance Faster, Denmark and Johor Baru Malaysia.
He also coached at HIK Hellerup.
The former Nigeria international holds a UEFA coaching licence.
On the motive for organising the programme, Sule said apart from assisting ex-players in charting a source of livelihood, it is also a way of giving back to the society that gave him opportunity to horn his skills that made him to play for clubs in Nigeria, abroad and the Supr Eagles.
