Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has reiterated the club’s ambition to finish the season on a high note, aiming for a commendable position despite facing challenges.
With seven games remaining, Ogunbote emphasized the team’s determination to achieve their goal.

“So far, we know we have seven games to determine our fate, and we have our goal, and we are aiming at it,” Ogunbote affirmed.
Acknowledging the constraints of limited resources, Ogunbote commended the club’s efforts in motivating the team under the circumstances.
“In terms of motivation, I think there is no perfect organization. Within the limited resources available, I think we want to say they are doing their best,” he added.
He highlighted that while perfection may be elusive, the team remains focused on maximizing their potential in the remaining matches.
“But so far, we have seven games to determine. We aim to finish up high in an appreciable position,” Ogunbote emphasized.
Following a recent setback with a 1-0 defeat against Heartland FC, Shooting Stars are poised to bounce back in their upcoming fixture against Sunshine Stars.
With the desire to return to winning ways, Ogunbote and his team are prepared to give their all on the pitch and strive for a favourable position in the NPFL standings.
