Heartland FC fans will have the chance to watch their darling team at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri following the approval given by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the Naze Millionaires to return home ahead of their Friday evening game with Shooting Stars.

The Owerri side have criss-crossed Awka and Aba in their search for match venue after the NPFL said the pitch of the Dan Anyiam Stadium was unsuitable to host league game as from the start of the second round.
After a painstaking work on the turf of the Dan Anyiam Stadium, the venue has been certified fit and ready to host league games again, albeit provisionally starting from the visit of Shooting Stars.
Heartland FC games have improved in recent matches. They defeated Sporting Lagos 3-1 the penultimate weekend but lost 1-0 to Enyimba in a game their Oriental Brothers were made to work very hard before they got the maximum points.
Shooting Stars are next, this Friday and Heartland FC will cherish a golden opportunity to secure another win to welcome their return to Owerri with a win. The first leg ended goalless in Ibadan.
Shooting Stars have massively improved from the team the Owerri side played in the first round. The results the Oluyole Warriors have got in the second stanza alone is more than the entirety of the points earned by the Gbenga Ogunbote’s side in the first round.
Heartland FC are still at the wrong end of the table but the Christian Obi boys would be buoyed by their recent decent performance to beat their visitors from Ibadan and improve their points haul on the table.
