“Well, I am happy with their performance today because they have shown character and they show that they are there on top. They are not pushovers,” he said. Eugene Agagbe acknowledged that the game’s strategy did not go as planned, attributing the loss to this deviation. However, he remained optimistic about the future, looking forward to their next home game against Bendel Insurance of Benin.
Agagbe also addressed the team’s recent performance, noting their success in winning matches but acknowledging the lack of an away win. He emphasized the need to work harder, particularly in light of the team’s title aspirations and continental dreams.
“Well, today I lost the game but I still maintain third on the log,” Agagbe stated, highlighting his objective to secure a continental ticket for his state and finish among the top three by the end of the season. Despite the loss, Eugene Agagbe remains focused on his target, looking forward to upcoming away games to push for the title.
Reflecting on the team’s performance, Eugene Agagbe noted their character and determination to go the extra mile. “They did not play badly. They show a lot of character. It’s just one or two mistakes to be corrected, and we’ll be there,” he said.
With his sights set on the next home game and an away game against Gombe United in Gombe, Eugene Agagbe is confident in his team’s ability to bounce back and secure crucial points.
