Rechabite FA suffered a disappointing defeat in the semi-final match against Right Vision Choice FC, losing 3-0 after a commanding 4-0 victory over Ogbeta FC in the quarter-final.
Reacting to the loss, Kpose Samuel told Sports 247 “Winning the quarter-final with 4-0 was different from the semi-final after losing 3-0 behind,” Samuel remarked.
“The opponents are very tough, one of the favorite teams in the tournament and they are in good form.
So from my judgment of the game, we were very confused about what to do and It just happened so quickly.”
Despite the setback, Samuel emphasized the importance of regrouping and learning from the experience.
” Our coach should know how he can make use of his players to handle the tough teams though,” he stated.
“Nobody is perfect and we accept our defeats, it was a nice game. We will come back stronger and ready.”
The loss serves as a reminder for Rechabite FA to return to the drawing board and strategize for future matches, aiming to bounce back with renewed determination and vigor.
