Gabriel Ezema, the coach of Inter Lagos, expressed disappointment at his team’s inability to secure victory in the Lagos State FA Cup final.
However, he commended his players for their efforts as debutants in the competition and expressed satisfaction at securing a federation cup ticket.

Ezema now shifts his focus towards the qualification process for the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) next season.
“While it’s disappointing to lose, we need to move on and focus on our future games, particularly our target in the league.
Currently, we’re in the top two, and we need to consolidate on that position,” Ezema commented.
Despite the setback, Ezema remains confident in the abilities of his team, emphasizing their strong performance throughout the season.
“It’s important to acknowledge that we have a strong team capable of winning games anywhere in the country.
We’ve demonstrated this by winning more away games than any other team in our group and boasting the highest number of overall victories,” Ezema added.
As debutants in the competition, Ezema sees this experience as valuable for the team’s growth and development.
“We may not have clinched the title this time, but being newcomers to the competition, we’ve shown promise.
Who knows, perhaps next year, we’ll emerge as champions,” Ezema concluded.
