He used this occasion to reflect on the core values of the season – unity, peace, and love.
Majekodunmi called on every Nigerian to embrace these values, not just in their daily lives, but also in the realm of sports, most especially football.
“I’m calling on every Nigerian to let’s live in unity. Let’s live in love and I also pray for our sport, most especially our football,” he said.
He also took this opportunity to send a message of unity and love to all FA chairmen, footballers, and administrators across the state.
“Let there be unity. Let there be love among every one of us. All units of FA across the state,” Majekodunmi added.
In a passionate plea, Majekodunmi called for an end to violence, fights, and discomfort in the world of football. He urged everyone to reflect on the purpose of the season and let love reign supreme.
This Easter message from Majekodunmi serves as a timely reminder of the transformative power of unity, peace, and love in sports, and how these values can help foster a better and more inclusive football community in Nigeria.
