He expressed optimism about the sport’s trajectory, citing the presence of strong teams and the development of world-class facilities.
“There are lots of great teams here, great facilities being built for the games. It’d be great to see rugby excel and push on in Africa, having lots of potential, lots of great players, and great teams.”
When asked about his journey in rugby, Sagoe attributed his passion for the game to his upbringing, with rugby being a part of his family’s legacy.
He reiterated his dedication to the sport and his ambition to contribute to Ghana’s success in rugby.

“We’re just going to take it one game at a time, play the next game in front of us, and hopefully push on for a medal. And we’re here to win, so we’ll do our best.”
