Crotone of Italy striker, Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo (Simy) has predicted that the Super Eagles will overwhelm Libya with their skills and quality in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Although he has not been invited for the match, ‘Simy’ is staying upbeat that his national team colleagues will do well without him and told sports247.ng that their quality will make a world of difference in Uyo.
Nwankwo stated further that Nigerian football fans need not worry on the ability of the Eagles to deliver, because the team is blessed with good enough quality to get the job done against Libya.
He stated in a chat with sports247.ng: ‘I am sure the Eagles will get the job done on Saturday.
“All I want is for Nigerians to support the team and pray for them to do well, in order to succeed and overcome the challenge from Libya.”
