The result marks Tornadoes’ first away victory of the season and completes a double over Bayelsa United.

The match at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa started with both teams displaying attacking intent.
Tornadoes, eager to bounce back from a recent defeat to Rangers, took the game to their hosts, while Bayelsa United sought to build on their recent good form.
Despite the promising start, neither team managed to break the deadlock in the first half, with both sides heading into the break level.
In the second half, Bayelsa United came out determined to find a goal, but it was Tornadoes who struck first.
A well-worked move involving Derou Chima and Clinton Jephta culminated in Nwani slotting home from close range in the 57th minute.
Tornadoes then made tactical substitutions, bringing on Ifeanyi Okoye and Akintunde Azeez to bolster their midfield and attack.
The changes paid off as they maintained their lead and thwarted Bayelsa United’s attempts to equalize.
Despite several chances for both teams, the score remained 1-0 in favour of Tornadoes, who secured a vital three points and moved up the table, just outside the relegation zone.
