NPFL: BIFFO APPRECIATES STAKEHOLDERS FOR THEIR EFFORTS DURING KIDNAP

Technical Adviser Katsina United who resumed training on Wednesday, was full of thanks to those people who shared his pain while he was in kidnap den. Biffo thanks Football stakeholders in Nigeria for showing a lot of concern during his short spell in the hands of the Kidnappers.

 

Biffo who was regarded as master of Super 4 for promoting Abia Warriors and Giwa Fc from second tier glwho spent 17 days with the Kidnappers inside a thick bush before he was eventually released last Wednesday expressed gratitude to the people who showed concern with prayers and various awareness on social media.

“I think its a very bad experience for me.

“But it is now a thing of the past in my life and I have to give thanks to God for sparing my life.

“I wish to also thank the people who showed a lot of concern during this ugly period, Katsina State Government under the leadership of Rtd. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, football stakeholders, the LMC and NFF, Katsina United management, Technical crew, Players and staffers, My family and every other person that I didn’t mention, I thank you all for your concern. I will for ever cherish this.

Biffo, who resumed training fully Wednesday, a week after he was released was declared fit to go back to work by the doctors said,

“Yes, I think, I am okay now, the doctors has declared me fit to resume my duty. They were also the ones who stated that I was not fit enough to travel to Osogbo for our match against Remo Stars but I am okay now according to the doctors and I have resumed work fully.

He went further to hint media about the form of his players and how ready they are.

“Even though, we are sitting on the bottom of the table, i still believe that is not our position because we have the potentials to turn things around. He said

Biffo was absent on the bench when ‘The Changi Boys’ played their first and second match of the season is expected to return to the full fledge when Niger Tornadoes visit Katsina in the NPFL matchday six at the Mohammadu Dikko Stadium.
