After securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Crown FC on Monday, TradeSafe FC’s head coach, Ademola Adeshina, shared his post-match thoughts in an interview, expressing gratitude for the team’s success and emphasizing the role of faith and focus in achieving their goals.
Adeshina began by giving glory to Almighty God, emphasizing the divine aspect of their triumph. “First and foremost, let me give glory to Almighty God because, without him, we cannot even reach there.
I believed that TradeSafe was going to win, but I did not know how it was going to happen. I just knew we were going to win,” he told Sports 247, underlining the significance of unwavering belief in the team’s abilities.
Reflecting on the moment when Crown FC equalized, Adeshina highlighted the importance of concentration and focus in the face of challenges.
“Immediately the opponents equalized, I had faith because one thing about this life is, if you concentrate on what you are doing and always focus, you’ll get there.
Because if you continue listening to what supporters and fans are saying, you’ll get distracted,” he explained, drawing on his own experiences both as a coach and a player.
Having faced challenges in the past, Adeshina expressed his confidence that Trade Safe FC is on the right trajectory for success.

“We have faced a lot even more than this while I was playing for stationery stores on this same ground. Gradually, TradeSafe is going to get there by the special grace of God,” he added, indicating a long-term commitment to the team’s development.
Looking ahead to the next match against Giant Brillars in Enugu, Adeshina suggested that the recent victory would motivate the players to perform even better.
While not making bold predictions, he maintained a positive outlook, saying, “I cannot tell you that I am going there to win, but I believe that Trade Safe is going to have a point from there by the special grace of God.”
Ademola Adeshina conveyed a sense of optimism and faith, indicating that the recent triumph is just the beginning of what he hopes will be a successful season for TradeSafe FC.
