The decision to extend the deadline was prompted by the acknowledgment that several teams faced challenges in meeting the initial cutoff.
The NFF, through Ms Blessing David, emphasized the importance of this extension, urging all clubs in Nasarawa State to take advantage of the opportunity and finalize their registrations promptly.
Teams intending to participate in the Federation Cup from Nasarawa State are required to submit the respective registration fees of N150,000 for Men’s teams and N100,000 for Women’s teams.

To encourage timely registration, the NFF has set a fine of N200,000 for late registrations, applicable to both Men’s and Women’s teams.
Additionally, clubs yet to affiliate with the State Football Association are advised to complete their affiliation by paying a token fee of N20,000 to the Secretariat.
Comprehensive details and guidelines for the registration process will be communicated to the clubs to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure.
This extension reflects the NFF’s commitment to accommodating the needs of participating teams, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring that clubs have ample time to complete the necessary formalities for their Federation Cup entries.
The Federation Cup continues to be a significant platform for football clubs to showcase their talent and compete at a national level, and the extension aligns with the NFF’s objective of promoting and developing football across Nigeria.
