Nasarawa United youngster Victor Okoro has asked for patience as new boss Bala Nikyu tries to build his side in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The Solid Miners have picked just three points in four games played in the 2018/19 NPFL campaign.
Okoro is aware things need to be taken one step at a time.
“This is a new project and we need to be given a little bit of leeway. Right now is the time to be relaxed about things and have confidence in the team, because this is just the beginning.
“The important thing is to see what happens in the games ahead of us,” he told Sports247.ng.
Nikyu’s men have scored just one goal in four league games but Okoro is not unduly concerned and played down the matter.
“I trust the strikers in the squad and I’m sure this barren run is going to end,” he concluded.
