Emphasizing the significance of the World Cup, Maduakor stressed, “This is the time for every one of our players to remain focused and not take any chances because the World Cup is the biggest tournament when it comes to football.”
Reflecting on the disappointment of missing out on the last World Cup, he added, “Many of us have still not been able to come out from the disappointment of not qualifying for the last World Cup. But we have put that behind us, and that is why everyone needs to remain focused, with the target that Nigeria must return to that global stage.”

Maduakor called for a patriotic approach, saying, “For us, we know it is business, and we need to be patriotic. We are Nigeria, and I’m also telling every Nigerian to put their trust behind the team and pray for them. While we are working, we are doing the prayer, and that is what can give us success.”
Expressing confidence in the team’s capabilities, he remarked, “We know that we have the players. Everyone just needs to remain focused, and that is my own charge to them. Also, as a company, we put our brand behind the support of the national team.”
As the Super Eagles gear up for the crucial World Cup qualifier, Maduakor’s words serve as both encouragement and a call to collective support from the nation for the team’s success on the global stage.
