This season, history is set to repeat itself at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, where the Royal Queens and Heartland Queens began and concluded their NWFL campaigns last year. The match will take place there this time, with a minor change to the venue schedule.
This will be the fourth meeting between Heartland Queens and Royal Queens in the last two years, having met three times in the past year.
The Owerri Landladies triumphed in all three encounters with a slim win margin.
Recall that the first encounter was at the same home pitch of Royal Queens in Warri where Heartland Queens piped Royal Queens 1-0 to set off their league campaign on a high note.
The second meeting was the reverse fixture at the Dan Anyiam stadium when Heartland Queens rounded up their season with an emphatic 2-0 victory over Royal Queens.
