The grand finale of the Coaching programs organized by the Leadership of Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter in partnership with Berackiah Coaching Clinic, was held yesterday (Friday), 27th October, 2023, with various guest speakers and stakeholders alike.

The invited dignitaries showered praises on the ingenious vision of the association describing the program as a career-illuminating insight
The invited guest’s attendance included the Chairman, of Shooting Stars Sports Club 3SC, Honourable Olaniyan David Akoro, Representative of Oyo State Football Association, Coach John Kayode Ogunleye, Representative of Ibadan North West Chairman, Honourable Olumuyiwa Samson.
The speaker who spoke eloquently on the laws of the game is Barrister Adedigba.

Hon Olaniran Akoro former NPFL Referee and Chairman of Shooting Stars Congratulated the state Coaching Association for their vision and particularly for the success of the program.
Akoro who was part of the dignitaries who presented the certificates to the participants charged the graduants to value their certificates and engage themselves in more competitions.
He also clamored for more state football competitions to be established for grassroots coaches so as to prepare them for national assessment

“More relationship should be established between Nigeria Football Coaches Association & FA while he advised the coaches to go and attach to a team for practical training for cognate experience

On his part, he said on behalf of the chairman, IB.N.W local government, he appreciated the Association and said the sky is the starting point for the participants.
He then tasked them to be result-driven with a talent discovery voyage. He further implored the government at all levels to evolve more tournaments for the coaches and sponsor them in more programs

He noted that knowledge is just like gold and coaching is a good and professional Job. He reiterated that everything is not by chasing money but they should let their value speak for them.
Then, they will attract money. “Don’t run away from learning. Learn starts from your villages. Don’t discourage the attitudes of some players but let your knowledge be flexible.” He concluded
Today, Saturday, 28th October, the Coaches and the facilitators have moved to the Ogbomosho zone, area of Oyo State for the continuation of the version of the training program in that area.
