With the result on Saturday, Dino SC has now won two games in two heading into matchday three, the same amount of games won as Broad City FC and Imperial FC.
“Congratulations to us, it’s an impressive win, just like the first match, we have a target that we want to achieve this year and one thing I’m very much impressed with is that we were very clinical in front of the goal in the second half “.
“The first half, I was not very happy at all, we created loads of scoring chances but we couldn’t get any in the first half and this is what we have been spending a lot of time to work on in the training ground, finishing.
“Players must know when they have to run, take a scoring position and when to pass, these are what we need to work more on but I’m very much surprised when I see them losing loads of chances basically on indecision,” Zakka lamented.
“They are not decisive and I wasn’t too happy about it but when we came out, we have been able to talk to them, they go back and we have seen a lot of improvements which is what we are expecting from them”.
On expectations for matchday three (3) – “It’s still a process and we will go back and work more on the boys to try and build more understanding and cohesiveness among them and we will keep on working hard”.
“We are aware of the competition of the league and we will not go back and sleep. We will not get carried away by the first two results,” he assured.
