Abdu Maikaba has congratulated his Plateau United side after they beat Elkanemi Warriors 2-0 at the Kwara Stadium Complex on Sunday.
Saeed Jibrin and Ovoke Bernard scored to give the Peace Boys their first win of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, and the Coach was delighted to get three points.
“Not winning could have generated some doubt amongst my players,” he told Sports247.ng.
“But we did the right things – we remained calm and showed our quality on the ball.
“It was an important match for us, so I’m content with the three points.”
