The result handed the Lagos-based side their first victory over the Ikenne boys in five attempts with the coach praising his team’s defensive and attacking structure.
“They did well, our organization was top notch and that’s why it was difficult for them to be broken. Attacking wise, we scored three goals and that’s good for us as well,” Oluwaseun Ogunmoyero said.
The Broad City coach added that it’s still early to speak on winning the title as there’s still a lot of steps to take to get to that point but it’s however a step in the right direction.
“It’s just a step ahead in going for the trophy. We have about 21 more steps to go so I won’t use this to judge,” Oluwaseun concluded.
