Abdulmalik Morinola, a 12-year-old JSS3 student at Ogunlade College, has recently discovered his passion for squash, a sport he finds fascinating despite it not being as popular as other sports.

“I want to play squash because I find it an interesting game, even though it’s not as popular as some others. I enjoy the movements and strategies involved. My goal is to play squash professionally as I grow older, and I’m eager to participate in competitions and tournaments once I become more familiar with the game,” he shared with Sports247.
Beyond squash, Abdulmalik Morinola has an affinity for badminton and is an avid spectator of sports like lawn tennis, swimming, boxing, football, and volleyball.

He looks up to his mother as a role model and aspires to become either an aeronautic engineer or a lawyer. He understands that achieving these dreams involves earning good grades and seeking divine guidance.
With a strong determination to excel in both sports and academics, Abdulmalik dedicates about three days a week to training during his free time outside of school.
