Nigerian international rugby player Izuchukwu Precious has pleaded with the minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh to redeem the promises made to him by the previous administration
Izuchukwu who has been in hospital after he got injured while playing a rugby match in Lagos, in a heartfelt message said he knows the promises were not made to him by the current minister but he believes government is continuum. He described Senator John Enoh is a father, uncle and brother which necessitated pleas with him to fulfill this promises
“The former administration made a promise while they visited me at the , National Orthopedic Hospital Igbobi Lagos and promised to cover my hospital bills and get me a new prosthetic leg but ever since I have not heard from them ‘
i am using this medium to plead with the new minister of sports development to help not for feeding but the prosthetic leg and my hospital bills so I can move on with my life”
Izuchukwu sustained a life threatening injury while playing for his club Police Rugby Club in Nigeria just a few days to travel abroad to sign professional deal in 2021
The center back has not abandoned the dream of playing rugby professionally but insist that regaining his life is most important for him now.
