Sharp Strikers FC has emerged champions of the KG Sports foundation U-15 Tourney defeating Ultimate Stars 4-3 on Penalty after 0-0 at regulation time.
The Tournament brought to a climax the KG Sports Management Coaching clinic which was organized to introduce Grassroots coaches to Understanding Coaching and Mentoring.
About 17 coaches from Asaba, Agbor, Warri and Sapele converged at Jovic Land Gardens for the theory Session before moving to the Agbor Township stadium for Practicals on Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile the coaches endured a week long Online Training on the roles of Coaching and mentoring before the final phase.
Three teams took part in the tournament after Green Rangers and SuperFly FC pulled out due to unavailable Age grade player. KG Sports Academy lost to Ultimate Stars and Sharp Strikers through penalties in the first round to set up a finals between Ultimate and Sharp Strikers.
German Based David Stockbrink donated prizes for the Winner and individual awards to players and coaches.
