Head Coach of Delta Queens, Tosan Bob Blankson has said the approach in the semi final game against Athletico FC of Ivory Coast will not be different from the other matches.
The former Nigeria professional footballer said his approach to the game determines the playing style of his opponents.
The ex Bendel united FC of Benin city defender and captain, said Delta Queens is fully focus to take any opportunity to be crown champions.
” We have long prepared for this WAFU-B women’s CAF champions league Qualifiers, before the Super Six”.
When asked if the exit of some players before the CAF women’s qualifiers affect the team, he quickly respond by saying;
” As far as I am concern, Delta Queens have structure and part of the structure is to allow some go and bring in other players to build a stronger team.
Delta Queens thrashed USFA of Burkina Faso 3-0 and defeated Sam Nelly of Benin Republic 2-0 to finished top of Group A, to face Athletico FC of Abidjan in the Semi final.
The Ivorian ladies defeated Amis Du Monde of Togo 2-0 in their opening game and lost to Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana to finished second in Group B.
The first semi final will kick off by 3:00pm at the Sam Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin city before giving way to Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana against Sam Nelly of Benin Republic for the second semi final this Monday by 6pm.
