The academy commenced its journey with a cohort of 25 pioneering students, marking the first step in realizing GAA’s ambitious aspiration.
The core objective of the Athletics Academy is to impart comprehensive training in various track and field disciplines to its inaugural group of 25 students.
The students will undergo rigorous coaching and meticulous monitoring to chart their progression toward achieving elite status in the world of athletics.
Ahmed Shaibu Gara Gombe, Chairman of GAA, emphasized the critical importance of the academy during the inaugural event.
